Hi i have a  Performance Teknique ICBM-782 amp. I am running 2 12" Infinity refrence 1240W subs. The subs are 4ohms. I ran them normal to each channel. positive to positive neg to neg. Amp cuts out. SO i ran them in series then bridged the amp same thing. Ground is good voltage seems good. remote turn on is good. Any ideas? thank you

How is your gain set?

Could just be a bad amp.  It is a bottom-end brand.

Your gain is set very high!, that will cause it to clip and cut out. What head unit do you have and what is the rca pre out voltage?

No, don't just "turn it down a bit" you need to set it properly.  Use the search function on this forum for "setting gain" and do it correctly.
