Just bought a 2002 Chevy Tahoe.  I would like keep the OEM radio head unit for stealth reasons, plus I just like the look of the stock head unit better then aftermarket ones.   Can the OEM head unit be modified with RC output jacks to run ampifiers and crossovers, and also, add inputs for my Ipod.

Thanks for any advice.

Modifying the OEM head unit's not really feasible...however there are plenty of aftermarket accessories which will do what you're asking.  Basically all you would need is an iPod interface and a Line Output Converter. PAC Audio, Peripheral, and many others make those parts, and your local car audio shop probably has them in stock for a common vehicle like yours.
