I have an Alpine PDX-4.100 amp (rated at 100w RMS per channel) to power the Alpine SPX-17REF speakers I have (rated at 75w RMS). Is this extra power gonna be an issue?

The speakers are rated continuous power handling.  Should be fine.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
