Which one? Think the 660s might be $600+ and the 98.1 $400+. I know the Orions are old, but still. They have quite a reputation. Any thoughts on cost-benefit? Looking for some super powerful clean components

Gary Biggs won how many events with the 660's?
Looks to be a very high end X-over and newly designed drivers. Retail listed them at $1200+, a dealer should be able to give you street $$$.
JBL has been taking a more serious look at high end.
Orion died for me after the SX series amps. Ever since Directed took over PPI, A/D/S, and Orion things just haven't been the same. It wouldn't surprise me if many of the Orion branded drivers are A/D/S. Replacement drivers and or parts might be difficult to find.
I've been running Seas Lotus and absolutely love them.

I just will have a lot of Orion in my setup. I have a gen one 250 hcca amp now and I am selling my old punch 225.2 '98 series amp and getting a 225 hcca gen one to run my front stage. I really love the old hcca amps, just wasn't sure about the hcca components. i have heard that a lot about orion not being the same since being bought out.  Just trying to educate myself on the high end component sets.  There are some Morel Elate 6 2ws for sale also. I wonder how those compare...
