i have a pair of sony xplode 1200 watt competition 12's, in a rectangular like box at about 1.25 cubic feet per speaker......I need to know how long my 3 inch port should be to maximize my sound in a 2003 grand cherokee

porting a small sealed box will make that sub sound like poo.
If you want to maximize output than a custom ported enclosure with atleast 4 inch round ports is better.
3 inch ports are far too small.
