I have a 1997 Ford F-150. I was recently installing an amp and whenever I hooked up the power it caused a spark, even though I had my inline fuse on the power wire disconnected. Im open for answers on how this might have happened. Thanks
i am an idiot

The capacitors inside your amp were charged. When you touched the screwdriver or allen wrench to the positive screw, it touched the chassis of the amp and discharged the capacitors.
