2005 nissan altima w/bose system

I have a 05 altima with bose sytem....I want to install a Kenwood double din/ ..can anyone shine some light on the subject of the wiring?? is the cars with the bose system require a full rewire??? New to site so if I should be looking in another forum please give me some direction...thanx in advance

not necessarily... there are a lotta shops using the 'rewire' speech as a scare tactic...... i think the ol sayin is... 'if it's bose, everything goes'.......  first thing i wanna know is are u putting this in yourself.. if so... consult metraonline.com... plug in your car into their fit guide and it should list the parts u need..... most of the import bose systems are not a total rewire... be aware though... u may lose the factory sub if it's a data turn on for the factory sub amp.... or u might have to find a way to relocate the original headunit... in order to turn this amp on if needed....... another thing u can do is call metra tech support... the will give u the low down on your cars layout and let u know fa sho if a rewire is needed.... hope this helps... later....

Thanks...I got a scoshe haness 4 40 bucks until my customer has the money to change all 8 speakers and add the four channel
