My amp is a kicker zx350.4, which is powering my front soundstage. This amp has two speakers (kicker 6.5 components) wired to each channel for two channels, resulting in a 2ohm load on each of those channels. The other two channels have one set of speakers (sony xplod 6x9) wired to them, each one presenting a 4ohm load. Is this okay, to present the amp with two different ohm loads? It seems that the two different sets of channels are seperated, because they each have their own gain, frequency, and bboost settings. Any feedback is appreciated.

Your amp will be fine wired like that.    As long as no channel is wired at a load of less than 2 ohms you will be OK.

I figured as much becuase it's been fine so far and the channels really do seem to be seperated. Thanks, that's all I needed!
