I have tried to install a stereo in my pathfinder i have the wire harness adapter and it powers up but i can not get sound is there any security issues when replacing stock system?

If your vehicle has a factory amplifier, you will need to connect the wire on the harness that was labeled Power antenna.  It should be connected to the remote turn on wire of your deck.  It is usually blue with a white stripe.
