I had pioneer before and did like it but the line noise just killed it. Now I narrowed my choices to something else. I like the JVC but not sure how good it is? Kenwood I know produces highs and mids but lack of bass ad my kdc 619 back in the day and the Sony I know it might not be a good choise but the BT2600 model had BT and BT streaming. What would you recommend with pros/cons. ALso what speakers I should get that that produce good sound over all the ranges, since I do not want subs anymore.

I would say the CD7200mkII is about the most badass cd player i've ever seen.

Jvc... Kenwood... Sony... three of my least favorite brands.  Add in Audiobahn and I'd say shoot me now.  If those were my only choices I would not have a car stereo.  The Excellon line from Kenwood is OK, according to some dealers I know.

Alpine or Eclipse currently top the heap (since Nakamichi and McIntosh are temporarily out of the picture.)  Pioneer, Clarion or Blaupunkt can be good as second tier choices but you have to be very careful about choosing the model.  Just my opinion of course.

guys... is not that i do not like alpine is that the customization options are not there. and the models you guys mentions are not in stock anywhere around her in LA. Even went downtown. Also, they are more expensive. LIke I said, I listen to trance/techno and such, and some rap at times, but the pioneer always had line noise, the eclipse i played with was cumbersome to use. I am a tad towards the sony since is easy to use and has the options i need. I also get a Kenwood KDC 238. Or a JVC. I said overall what would you take.

Eclipse.
Seriously, of those three, I wouldn't be able to tell you which would be the worst of them. If you like the Sony, then get the Sony. Audio and audio gear is SO subjective, that even if we told you to get one of the other ones, it seems VERY MUCH to me that you are really looking for the features, and not much else.
I think you just need to get the one you like the best, and I think that's going to be the one with the features you want the most.

Alpine lacks customization options?  No way, they are perhaps the most highly customizable systems currently available.  You have to pay for the add-ons, sure, but if it's custom you want you cannot beat Alpine.

But as Dave said, you seem to like the Sony so go for it. My recommendations always come from a sound quality and reliability perspective.  If there is something else that is more important to you, then you should get that.
