Old School Alpine 3311 EQ Pinout

I have an old truck with and Alpine 7164 deck and just bought an Alpine 3311 equalizer. I need the pinouts for in and out on the 3311 EQ. The 7164 deck, rear channels have a 5 pin din out (I have pinout) and the front channels go through a line level converter to rca jacks. My amp is 4 channel and has rca inputs. no sub at this point. I have not received the EQ yet so I don't even know if the cables are marked. Thanks in advance.Paul

3311.pdf Here you go    The EQ gets power from the amplifier output harnesses. You only need to supply constant and switched power to 1 of the plugs. It doesn't matter which one, front rear or sub. The other 2 adaptors you make only need Left right and shield. Remote is optional on all of the plugs. When soldering to the din plugs, remember that the metal cover has to go over them. So make sure no solder will touch the metal cover when you put it together.

I am assuming I can run the switched power from the deck instead of from the amp. I currently am using the switched power from the deck for the amp, and was going to tap off of it for the EQ as well. The reason I was planning to do it like this was so I won't have to pull out the seat and run another wire. All the wiring I was going to do to add the EQ is behind the dash.Paul

You will have to try it and see. It has been many years since I even saw one of those EQs. I just remember that the you had to connect a switched power wire to the amplifiers, this was to feed power to the EQ. Alpine also sold DIN adapters so you could use the EQ with any amp or radio. I do remember that the adapters for the output cables of the EQ had constant and switched and remote wires on those adapters. The input adapter had Signal and remote only. I do not know if they had diode isolation that would prevent power to be fed from the input end.
