Ok so i have a customer coming in tomorrow with a Mercedes 420sel and wants a deck installed. On our system at work we don't list a dash kit because it's din fit which is fine but we also don't list a harness either.   I have a feeling i'm going to end up having to hardwire and bypass the factory amp. Has anyone done one of these that has any tips for me or things i should look out for?
thanks

OK well since i didn't get any replies i'll just post up how it went so that i could possibly help others.
Radio removal: remove ashtray under radio, then undo the 2 phillips screws holding the ashtray holder and pull it out. Then under the radio there are 2 metal "clips" holding the radio just use a pick and pull them both down then the radio will pull right out.
Power, ground switched- at the factory wiring to the stereo just test them and you should find them quickly.
power antenna- black female spade connector with 2 black wires going to it.
Factory amp location- Behind the rear seats one on each side. I don't think i should have to go into how to test what wire goes to each speaker....
So i hope this helps someone out in the future.
