i need help,

i got an 08 corvette that we put a navigation system into.  this vehicle has onstar, and we installed the correct gm module and wired the relay as instructed.

the problem i have is the system does not turn off.  even after opening the door.   so my question is should i wire the radio so that its tapped into the actual ignition?  i beleive thats the pink wire on this vehicle. if im correct thsi should resolve the problem.  please let me know as soon as possible

if anyone has question about how to access the oem radio ill give you the info , its actually kind of tricky.  hidden screws are out there.

thanks
