I know you all have gone over this issue MANY times before, and ive searched all over the place for help on this but I cant find it. I had the flex cable problem on my Avic-N2 Fixed for free after the professional installer bypassed the pins. Now my nav never fully initializes, Pioneer removed the pins to bypass the function that blocks video viewing while car is in motion, and NO Addresses are able to be found. It always tells me route calculation not possible.
All I want is to be able to use video/nav menus in motion, and I also, if possible want to update to the new versions with more addresses when I can afford them.
Im not that electronically savvy, i just want to know if I can have these features back.
Thank You!!
why does it have to be so hard! !

Take it back where you just had it repaired and tell them what's wrong.

it was sent in to pioneer for free repair due to faulty flex-cable. The stereo shop said that because it was modified (with my permission) that is what I have to deal with.
