Hey, has anyone here installed an alpine component set (SPR-17S) in a 2006 GMC Sierra?  I am trying to mount the tweeters in the stock locations, and am wondering what the best way to do it would be?

I would like to use the alpine mount, however, the molded pillar would make it not fit perfectly.  Also, I dont really have enough room behind to use the mounting bracket that came with the speakers.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Nick

It's time to become a fabricatoer. Dump the idea of using what came with the tweets for mounting purposes. No one will know it, and

it really makes no diff. Get out your dremmememmelll, and your hot glue gun, and get creative. Will they mount behind the pillar plastic?
