sub encolure ideas -- posted image.
an 8 hanging from the back dash i was looking an is300 forum and a guy posted this pic he said he used a 8 and im running 2 10s or thinking about upsizing to 12s this would free up alot of space but ive never heard of this way to run subs any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I can't really tell what your image is showing, and you might try writing proper English sentences.  Please describe what sort of installation you are asking about?

see im not to sure about what he did but from what i see it looks like he suspended an 8 from the back dash to run a freeair type enclosure or more like no enclosure at all.... the pic i have is alot better but i had to reduce it so much to put it on here... it seems it would be like just having a sub laying on the floor of my trunk and im not sure if that would perform at all

No, a woofer hanging in mid-air with no baffle whatsoever would most likely not work very well, especially not in a vehicle.  I do not recommend it.

...unless that's some sort of acrylic tube, with the woofer attached to the end of it, effectively running IB, with the rear wave venting into the cabin...
That's all I can see it being.
Copy and paste the web page's address where we can see that photo, please? We can help WAY more with a better idea of what is actually going on there...
