I currently have a 2000 sunfire that has a basic factory cd player in. I was wondering if there is anyway i could hook an amp up to that to power just the factory speakers. The radio looks like the monsoon cd player but it does not say monsoon on it. Any wiring help or diagram would be deeply appreciated

There are 2 yellow wires on the harness in your car,  The yellow wire near the orange, black and grey wires is the switched 12 volt wire.  If you connect the remote wire to this wire, it will turn your amp on whenever the key is on or in the accessory position.
