i just built a two speaker subwoofer enclosure.  i have two terminals i could use but they were expensive and having two wires running to it will make it look twice as cheesy... i was wondering if i could hook both speakers up to one terminal and run one cord, or if each speaker requires its own terminal.... and if there is math involved please inform me of this or where i can find it, if u know of it.

thanks, grant

Uh, sure.  You simply wire the speakers together inside the enclosure to create the loading needed by your amplifier.  Check the subwoofer wiring options link to the left.

What kind of amp are you using?  We also need more info on your woofers too.  Single voice coil, Dual voice coil?   2 ohm, 4 ohm,  8 ohm?

There is always math involved.  We just need some numbers so we can help you.

it is a 1or 2 channel, 4 ohm, 1400x1 or 350x2 watt amp (Crunch - Powerzone 1400).  the subs are dvc, 4 ohm, 350 watt ( Pioneer premier - 10' 1000 watt max)

Wire them to 4ohms (option #2) inside the box to the single terminal, then wire that to the bridged output terminals on the amp.

Your speakers are paralleled.  The voice coils of each speaker are wired in series with the other coil of that same speaker.  Then the 2 speakers are paralleled with each other.    Exactly as pictured is by far the best way to wire them.
