I'm getting ready to rewire the two amps in my 1993 GMC Jimmy (a Rockfor Fosgate 500.1 and 500x) and I'm looking for a better way to run the power and RCA connections.  Currently, I have my RCA's going up the driver's side A-pillar and running under the edge of the headliner.  The power comes off the battery through a fuse, down into the frame, then back out of the frame just behind where the back seats are, and in the "trunk" area through a grommet.

It's not real pretty, and I would like to find a better place to hide the cabling.  I would like to find a place where I can run it inside the cab (minimizing the amount of power cable exposed to the elements, but keep it hidden without running a whole lot of wire loom.

I know there is a ton of people out there with trucks like mine and I'm hoping someone else has already found a good way to do this.

I always find a flat metal spot in the fire wall and drill through that for your power wire. Make sure you check both sides of the wall before you drill as not to drill into something important. I would then pull out the interior trim that holds the carpet down by the door and pull up a section of the carpe and run the power wire along the edge of that until you get to the amp area. then make a small cut in the carpet and run the wire out there. I would do the same with the RCA cables.
