I am trying to get the radio out of the dash of a 2007 subaru forester with "Manual Climate Controls" I can get the dash unsnapped and the wires unplugged, but because it has manual climate controls I cannot pull the dash away far enough to remove the radio. All the notes that I have, refer to just unpluggin the "electronic controls" which I do not have. I was hoping someone could tell me where I need to disconnect the climate controls in order to be able to allow the dash to be removed a bit further. Thanks in advance for any help

if it's anything like the Hyundai's you follow the cables back and disconnect them from the vent flaps... then the whole dash bezel comes forward... after the radio is in and the dash bezel back on you reclip the cables to the vent flaps.....

There should be a cable end behind the glovebox, and one under the driver side dash towards the center console.
