Following is a link to the instructions for the Versa, which I think is the stateside equivalent of the Latio.

There is always more information about the version of a vehicle that is sold in the U.S. All you have to do is figure out what our version of the vehicle is called.
The only thing I know about modified SPL cars is, use lots of concrete, Angle Iron, Lexan and a lot of bolts to secure the lexan to the angle iron. And then it is just an SPL apparatus, no longer a car.
