infinity vq vs mtx 7500

Any body ever heard the two.  I would like to get two 12's.  Not sure which set though.  I have 800 watts rms to play with.  Also a box already made for 2 12's with 2.8 cubic feet sealed.  Any suggestions.  Thanks.

What do YOU want? Quality or quantity? One or the other. 1.4 cubes each might be a little bit big for either one of them, also. Additionally, if that box isn't divided, it should be. Common volumes for sealed enclosures is almost ALWAYS a very bad idea. Is it REALLY 800WRMS? i can see both sides to this argument so ill through my change in also.  you are right in a perfect world    one common chamber will be louder in general even than 2 seperate ones. however no matter what each woofer is a little different whether it be the amount of play time leading to a weakend suspension system or just varying impedance. these variables can cause strain on one another and is magnified by that common chamber which in all honesty is to large in the first place.  the fact that its to large als is another reason i would not run one chamber the spring effect is deminished by the over abundance of extra air space.    so u both are right only one is more right i guess especially in this instance.     ( you can also run 2 woofers in one chamber of 2 amps    things just need to be tested and set right    by the way)

What happens of one woofer fails? Now the other woofer is in an enclosure that STARTED OUT too big, and it's suddenly attached to a drone cone, instantly forming a Helmholtz resonator (vented enclosure) tuned WAY WAY WAY too low, and you run the risk of physical damage to the remaining woofer. If you happen to be running WFO when it happens, that second cone is going to fail almost immediately, if not, at least bang against the stops REALLY hard, causing pretty nasty physical damage! Well I am currently modifiy the enclosure I have, but I am still wondering what subs to get.  I was looking at the W3V3's.  Any comments on those subs? Thanks
