I couldn't find a topic like this in here... So I'm posting :P
I bought a 2300HCQ audiobahn amp used. Price on it was cheaper than getting my memphis amp fixed. So I went with it for now.
(Memphis repair guy was charging about 350, I got the amp for 60$... lol)
I've had this amp for about a year now... And I stumbled across an old 1800 audiobahn bass remote control. This remote has a 6pin jack on it... But the 2300HCQ had a 4 pin.
I was wondering if anyone know what wires I could cut or merge together to possibly get this control to work with the 2300 amp.
The cable the control came with has colors like this, looking at the bottom of the pins, from right to left: white, black, red, green, yellow, blue.
Another 4 pin phone cable I found has colors in this order:
black, red, green, yellow.
I work for an ISP, for our category 5 cable... We use blue, white blue, brown, and white brown for power to radio equipment (white green, green, white orange, and orange are used in network communications alone... or phone) ... but in network communication blues and browns are useless other than for power...
What I'm saying is... Are there possibly 2 cables that could be useless coming from the 6 pin cord? (for this amp remote scenario)...
Also, has audiobahn shut down? Their support # doesn't work and their site won't load?
Any help will do,
thanks guys.

Yes, Audiobahn has shut down, out of business, no more. One more Crap brand out of the way. Now if MA would burn to the ground, life would be sweet!

MA = memphis audio?
Btw, what's it do you?
Some people have to put stuff down to make themselves feel better... Guess they're tired of hating themselves...
But thanks for the confirmation on audiobahn shutting down...

MA Audio = Mobile Authority.
If I meant MEMPHIS I would have said MEMPHIS.

Maybe I put stuff down due to personal experience and or fact. Maybe I know what the hell I'm taking about. 18 years in the Pro Sound and Auto Sound Markets has exposed me to what works and what doesn't. Quality or Crap, my opinions are based on first hand knowledge, trusted outside sources or facts. I don't sit around and BS for something to do.

I hate people who assume as to make things personal out of ignorance.
Maybe your assumptions mean something back in Boys Town, Not here.
