I turned off the car. Got gas. Started up. No audio! Navigation works, screen is fine, nothing from CD, AM/FM or Sat. Select any audio function and nothing happens. Outside temp was 65 deg. and wasn't playing loud. The Bose system is such a POS I can barely handle listening to it. Wanted to keep things stock. It's a 06' S-430. No fuses blown, nothing smoked.
Called MB dealer, their only suggestion was a software glitch. Any one else experience this? Thought I'd ask before experiencing the $165 an hour rectal probing.

I think some of those amps have a fuse mounted right next to the plug on the amp.  Did you check for a fuse on the amp?

I will look for the fuse on the amp. Going to have more time tomorrow. If memory serves, the amp is in the upper left hand side of the trunk? It's been a while since I've done a Benz.
A side note, this thing has had some major faults, mostly transmission problems. Not going to buy one again.s class audio? -- posted image.

Ummm.... Daimler-Benz/Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth. Number one worst average fuel economy auto manufacturer on the planet, with a lifetime power train warranty, because otherwise nobody would buy the cars...   Any of this ringing any bells for you? "Faults", from your car and you're SURPRISED? LOL
Sorry... Did I mention I'm not a fan?
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I'm smiling and crying on the inside. The last transmission problem was weird. Sitting in traffic and the transmission just stopped working. Cycled the key and few times, and was able to get it going. Went to dealer, "Software Issue". Audio problem: "Software Issue". Seeing a pattern forming here.
I did find a repair facility for "Blose" and other factory systems:

Sent them an email and should know something tomorrow. Seems the Bose crap has a history of breaking, imagine that!
