I had a customer today who brought in a 2002 BMW 325xi, I was going to do a Hardwire Sirius Satellite Radio in his car. However I COULD NOT find accessory/12v switched anywhere. The cigg lighter is constant, everything behind the radio is NOT 12v, I found 1 that was 6v and tried that but the unit wouldn't stay on very long. I asked/looked around and everyone either told me to go the the back left of the trunk (where there's an amp or something) and try to get one of there (which I couldn't find one) or at the ignition harness. I couldn't see any harness around ignition and I didn't have time to search every wire under the column.
If anyone knows where/what color the Accessory/Switched 12v wire is in this car PLEASE tell me, I would like to get this install done and so I know for future installs. Thankyou.
