Does he have the Changer, the controller and the modulator?   And the cables to connect those 3 pieces together?        If he does, he will be able to connect it to the JVC radio.  The modulator needs to be installed within cable reach of the back of the radio.

When you say modulator, are you talking about an FM modulator, or are you talking about the protocol that the units use to communicate with the other unit?     If you are talking FM mod, then yes he can do it.  If you are calling the protocol a modulator, then not EASILY going to happen.

No diagram, but if you tell me what part of the install you are having trouble with, I can probably help.  Connecting the controller to the changer should be pretty straight forward.   Does the modulator plug into the changer or the controller?  Does the changer have RCA outputs and the modulator have RCA inputs?   What kind of vehicle are we dealing with?  Antenna adapters may be in order.   There should be at least 3 wires on the changer or the controller.  Red = switched 12 volts.   Yellow = constant 12 volts.  Black = ground.
