first let me start by saying i plan on upgrading my stock stero in my 1994 integra.

before i buy anything i want to do my research and make everything will work well together. here's what i plan on buying for sure

Alpine 9886 HU ,Alpine SPR-17s components and some used 12w0 jl subs from my buddy

what i want to know is what should i use to power everything?

My first thought was a Alpine MRP-F600 to power the components up front and get some 100w rms Alpine 6x9's in the rear. Plus a MRP-M500 for the subs.

My second thought is alot cheaper... Use a MRP-F600 in 3-channel mode producing 2x100W rms and 1x300W ms for the components up front and the subs, and just run some 2way SPS-5002 off the HU in the rear.

any feedback will be greatly apreciated... and i know there is a HUGE price difference between the two options, so would there be a big difference in sound in the car? i should state that im not looking for too much out of my system, just something enjoyable on my daily comute, oh and i should add that i mainly like to listen to old school, rap, and sometimes spanish music

Many people just run a good set of front speakers and subs, they eliminate the rear speakers all together.  You could run it this way and i think you would be completly satisfied as it will be a huge inprovement over your current stock system.  Now with that being said you will mosy likely get better sound with the 2 amps and rear fill speakers...  It really all comes to personal preference..  You could always start with the first option and if you dont like how it sounds add the mono amp later..

I have personally never used this amp but in general alpine makes amazing products.
