like the title says i get noise in the subs when the HU is off. i think it is caused by vibration in the rear door speakers that the sub rca are spliced into. i have grounded the converter to the HU ground. i dont know what else to try besides leaving the Hu on all the time. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Connect the converter to the wires of the front speakers.

The subs are further from the front speakers than the rears.  It should take care of the problem.  I have never seen a case that it did not help.
