My Kenwood KDC-MP538U has a USB port on a wire that can be mounted almost anywhere, as well as an aux plug that I need to mount also.
The problem im having is, i dont know where to put them. I have a 1996 Cougar XR7, and I was originally planning on putting the ports in front of my shift knob because there seemed to be room there, and also i thought it was a good idea.
I now have the maounting kit (CA-U1EX) and am second guessing putting the usb port in fron of my shift knob.
I dont want to put it in my glove box, as i use my usb drive for work also, and therefore its removed frequently.
Im not really sure where a good place would be to plug a usb drive/ipod in.
Anyone have any suggestions?

yes it does, but that would be awkward to reach i think, and also, my daughter sits back there, i could see some kind of accident happening that would ruin something.
I might want to put something else there though, not sure yet, because its definitely not needed.
