Hello,

I was looking into puchasing 2 JL 10w3v3 subwoofers and a TMA 1000.1 or 500.1. If this was your decision would you run either 1000.1 or 500.1? Also since I havent yet purchased the 10w3v3 should I use 2,4, or 8 ohm speakers. Thanks in advance for your answers

I own a TMA 500.1 and I love it, it has been a great amp and pushes my 2-12's very nicely. The only thinkg you need to think about is that if you go with the 1000.1 you may need to upgrade your big3 and alternator to keep up with it.

with the 500.1 you will need 4 ohm speakers and that will give you a 2ohm load which is the lowest that amp is rated, if you go with the 1000.1 you would want 2 each 2 ohm speakers so that you can get the max out of the amp since it is rated stable at 1 ohm
