08 oddyssey, retaining rear dvd system

Hello, anybody have experience retaining rear dvd system when swaping out oem stereo? customer wants to add dvd/touch/gps unit. guessing i can find the audio somewhere, wondering if dvd will work as stand alone or if i need to relocate factory head? anybody? thanks

I have a similar issue in a 2006 Honda Pilot. So far it looks like the gear "may" be independent other than power and audio inputs to stock HDU, but you will need to power up the dvd player and the flip-down and then grab the audio output and convert them to composite RCAs to send into new HDU.
