hello I have a w205 and hve been using it for sometime now. But today when driving it just shut off. I thought maybe a wire became undone but I press the source button and I turned on again. But 5mins later it shut off again. And I turned it back on. And it keeps doing that. Anyone know how to fix it?

check the power to the radio when it shuts off...12V constant and 12V switched.  Do your presets erase, or does it lose its memory?

ok I'll check and make the connections better. Yes I loose the presets and volume goes to 0 and clock resets.

something is wrong with your constant power.  make sure that nothing is loose behind your radio.  Did you use a harness when you installed it originally?

ok well i took it out and redid the connections on the red and yellow wire. but still keeps shutting off. seems like its random as when im parked it still continues to shut off. i hope its not the unit itself.

A faulty ground could also cause this problem.
