is there anyone familliar with orion hp subs ? 500 rms/ 1000peak, they seem to blow my buds w-3'S away. orion suggests an hcca 2400 amp, but im not rich, so any suggestions for now i have a quantum 1800d but i doesnt even make them come close to peak, my old orion 800.1 was almost as powerfull, and also what would be a good comparison to the orions and dont say jl, mtx, or kicker cuz the same class i have already compared. orion wins thanks guys

I plan on experimenting with an HP10. I've heard of ppl feeding these subs over 1000 watts daily and them taking it fine. Seems to be a great contender for the money.
a nice 500-1000 watt amp would do just fine...what is your price limit for an amplifier?
