Ok, I have a Eclipse cd8443, and when I bought it the guy had it running and playing a cd. So I would know that it was working. So now I installed it in my car, everything thing seems to work fine, but when I put a cd in it reads it and you can see it counting the seconds on the song etc. But it makes no sound?.. If I pop out the cd then the radio comes on and it works fine through all my speakers and subs. I am running all my speakers from an external amplifer. Any help would be awesome!! I am hoping that there is just some setting, I need to change or something.. I haven't had an Eclipse HU before now.....

Did you use the power antenna lead as your amplifier remote wire?

Well, that is a very good question. Obviously If I did, I didn't mean to use the power antenna as the remote.

But it does sound like a very good possibility, I'll check it out and post back. ASAP

My money's on the power antenna hooked up and not the remote wire!

Yep , that was the problem!!!
