has anyone ever made a high to low level impedance adapter?

it could not be much involved. maybe just a couple of resistors. if anyone has any information on this it would be great.

Active or passive? Active is NOT easy, passive is only slightly easier. What dB reduction do you desire? Fixed or adjustable? EQ compensated or not? Do you want ground-loop prevention or no?

Positive speaker wire to a 10 Mic Non-Polarized capacitor, available at Radio Shack. Other leg of the capacitor to a 10K resistor, the other end of that resistor connects to the center conductor of the RCA cable and to a 2K resistor. The other leg of that resistor connects to ground. Do not connect the negative speaker wire to anything. Ground the shield of the RCA jack and you are done. Duplicate for the other channel. Remember do not connect the negative speaker wire to anything.

From the subject, I am betting he was asking how to build an SNI-15, you were going to try and help him build a JL Cleansweep.

the response about the two resistor values is the one i was looking for. it is just for a little side project that i am working on and need RCA outputs. i just use a 10K 1/4W and a 1k potentiometer to find the right values. those resistors should be good for up to 50W or so i think. trial and error. thanks everyone
