Ok I got a new deck an Rca jack's, think it  would keep my amp from shutting off. But it still doe's, My old deck would dim in an out evertime a bass note would hit even with the amp off an I couldn't turn it up past 20, an with my new one I can't turn it up past 25. An if I turn the bass up on it, it sound's like it is skipping while it's on just the radio. So I'm thinking I need A. New Battery an Alternator or B. New amp kit. Now my car's been sitting for a while so It' need's charge but before it was still shutting off. can somebody help please.

Do you have a volt meter?  Your problem is a lack of current getting to the yellow wire of your radio.  Or not a good enough ground for your radio.  With the radio playing loud enough to make it "Skip" you need to check the voltage on the yellow wire of the radio.  When checking that, you need to ground the black lead of the meter to the chassis of the radio.  When checking that you need to ground the black lead of the meter to the chassis of the radio.   Notice the lowest reading you saw on the meter.  Now ground the black meter lead to another ground location, notice the lowest reading there.  Post what you find.

Ok on the chassis it ranged from 13 dropped to 6 an then to the car in dropped to 8. I notice though while playing if I shut the door it would shut off.

You need to connect the yellow wire of the deck directly to the battery via a 12 AWG wire with a fuse holder and a 15 amp fuse where it is connected to the battery.  You also need to ground the radio's black wire to the chassis of the car.  Your radio is not gettting enough power.

Did you attach the radio's black wire to the chassis of the car?

is it screwed to bare metal or to something that has paint on it? you need to scrape the paint off the spot where you attach your ground.

Ok So I've got the deck to stay on, My amp still shut's off though, I think I need to run new power cable's an remote wire. It' will hit a note an shut down like I don't have a good ground but I scrapped all the paint were it is screwed in at, My amp can take 4 gauge wire I got like 8 or 9 gauge hooked up now, Do you think I need the 4 gauge.
