I have a mono block amp with two positive and two negative terminals. if i have two woofers not wired togeather, wired for a 2 ohm load and connect both positives and negatives to the amp, does the laod drop to 1 ohm because its a mono block amp? or does the ohm load for each speaker stay at two ohms?

i am an idiot

The terminals of the amp are paralleled.  If you connect a 2 ohm speaker to each set of terminals, the amp will see a 1 ohm load.

The two terminals is just a feature used for easy wiring. They are wired together inside the amp.
