Hey there need some advice...basically running a 12"dual voice coil 1200w Pioneer sub. Now a couple of days ago something in my boot fell and landed on top of the sub and i didn't notice until it stopped working. Basically now the sub doesn't play when you switch the sound on there a popping noise and thats it. I noticed when i push down on the sub it is very slow to return to its original position it doesn't bounce back like it used to....
Is this repairable or is it toast? Sorry know its probably a dumb question but just need to know if it is worth my while attempting to fix it or if i should just replace it.

Does it continue making the popping noise every few seconds? Is the protection light of the amp lit up?
If it is making a pop when you power up your system, and it is just that single pop, check and make sure your Sub out of the radio is turned on. Make sure your RCA cables are properly attached at both ends.

Already checked all RCA's and setting basically it makes only the one pop and then goes dead...amps are all working fine.
What worries me is when you push down on the actual sub it doesn't bounce back but slowly rises back as if something in the suspension or something is wrong?
