hey guys i have some tweeters rated 200 watts max and 50 watts nominal, does it mean that the tweeters are pulling 200 watts from my amplifer (tweets pioneer TS-S20 i got).

NO that is what they can handle. 200 wax wattage handling and 50 RMS and this would be using a filter and with out distortion running to them.

yeah i have the 12db oct filters already on them. But i am a lil concerned i was running one of the tweeters wire under my seat to go to the amp and the negative lead of the tweeter touch the metal of the seat and gave a few sparks i was wondering if that would damages the 12db filter the tweeters came with. It said on the box don't make the leads come incontact with metal oooppss helppppppp. How could i test the capacitor 12db filter going to the tweeter helpppppppp

Speaker wires should not spark. Are you sure it was a speaker wire?

yes i am sure it was the tweeter negative terminal. Listen the tweeter i has a square box connected to them which is the 12db oct high pass filter i dunno if it was that caused the spark. i am now worried wondering if the filter is damaged because of the spark.
