I've looked everywhere to try find out about this!
i'm a newbie to the game, and want to know, i have a mono block amp, and two 12's.
but my only issue is on the mono block the connection for the speakers, there is 2 + and 2 - connections...
so is it better to connect the one sub to one channel, and the other sub to the other channel... or bridge the outputs on the mono block ?
What does this do with regards to power output and all that?

The amp is a MONO amp... ONE channel. The conections provided just make it easier to connect two speakers - it can be done at the amp, rather than the speakers... The speakers are parallelled inside the amp, there is no "bridging". RTFM, it'll explain ALL of that.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
