I have 5.25 factory speakers in my dodge ram p/u. they are located in the rear panels . I keep blowing them and i woould like some advice on how to fix this problem before I buy new set. also any suggetions on speakers? my setup: 2 12" memphis, 500 watt monoblock memphis, kenwood 500 watt/4 channel powering mb quart 6.5 components in front doors. still 2 channels available on kenwood amp. could i run a second set of components off of the kenwood amp say 5.25 components set up. thanks ahead of time.

Yes you could use the other 2 channels of the amp. Make sure you use the High Pass crossover in the amp. What exactly is the problem with the speakers? Tweeters quit, or you are blowing the woofers of the speakers?

the woofer is blowing, the 2 channels left on my amp only have an lpf filter wich i can turn off. should i do this when i connect my news speakers?

keep blowing them??? Turn it down...prevents EVERYTHING

Yes you will want to turn the low pass filter off. But without having a High Pass filter, I really do not think you need to use the amp. Does your radio have a built in crossover? As stated earlier, turning it down will be your only option.
