I installed a Panasonic CDC-800U headunit into my saturn.

After I installed it I went to turn the car on. It blew two fuses

the park light fuse and the reverse light fuse. Also, I noticed

now since the radio is installed I have no instrument panel lights.

I replaced the fuses, I taped up the orange and orange white wires

because I was told by a friend that would fix it, and, today I put in a

turn light combination switch that controls my cluster lights. I'm stumped.

I definitly cannot figure this one out.

P.S. I even tried replacing the electronic dimmer on the dash and it didnt work. 99 saturn sl1 radio -- posted image.

Did you chop and cut the wires.... THEN make your connections? OR, did you use a harness adapter?
