Look into the JBL GTO24001,  Great build quiality, good power as well.  Also the optimal enclosure for any speaker will be one you make, and design yourself.  It needs to be the correct cubic footage per subwoofer, and have to correct port size to get the best sound out of your woofers.  As for what type of box to go with, i would go with a ported box as they do not recommend a sealed one as you stated.

The best thing to do would to have one of your local car audio shops build you one. Look and shop around for good prices they will be able to help you out.

could someone check out the rockford fosgate t25001-bd, it is stable at 1 ohm. i was told a 2 ohm am would not be good for my 3-10" aw1008t because it will be wired for 1.33 ohms and may do damage to amp (cut out all the time) im not experienced enough to know if the rockford amp will work well or not. its 2500x1 at 1 ohm. any help would be great.
