Hello,
I am from Australia and recently came into the possession of a Orion HCCA 15.2 subwoofer, a mate had it for a project but had to abandon due to money troubles.
I currently have a 1999 Nissan Pulsar Plus with.
Two Rockford Fosgate P212D4's powered by a Rockford Fosgate Power T5001.bd. Rockford Fosgate Power T162S and T1693C's powered by a American Boss AB-6450.
I wanted to add this third subwoofer to add some more kick as I am currently only hitting 130.2db mostly due to the crappy prefab sealed enclosure I brought for my P212D4's, but I think the Orion HCCA 15.2 should help quite a bit.
I was thinking of purchasing two new amps a Power Acoustik BAMF 4000/1D for the Orion HCCA 15.2 and a BAMF 1200/4 to replace my American Boss amp. Can anyone recommend these amps?
I also would like to know if anyone could suggest some specifications for an enclosure for these subwoofers. I would really like to build a vented enclosure for the Orion HCCA 15.2 as I would like to get as much out of it as possible.
Also a side note that I am trying to do things as cheaply as possable, I have a bit to spend but not lots.
Thanks

I wouldn't recommend mixing subs.
If you want more output...build a new enclosure.
With two 12s and 500 watts you can do a lot more than that if you don't mind building your own enclosure

Hello thanks for the reply
Why do you not recommend mixing subs? I've seen other peoples setups and they have different drivers and it sounds good?
Should I just flog off the Rockford P2's and keep the one 15?
Yes I planned to build a new enclosure, three chamber one for each sub. Porting them all instead of my current sealed setup.
