First of all you should NEVER mix battery types. This is your first issue. One of those batteries WILL die prematurely. If installing multiple batteries, you always do them all at the same time, or at a MAXIMUM, within 6 months of each other.
Secondly, think it out... 1: Why would somebody (likely a salesman, maybe?) tell you that you have to have a cap for each amp? 2: If you or anybody else are installing, (and using electrical theories and laws in every step of that installation, whether you realize it or not) you should be able to figure out why a cap can go anywhere in the system with equal zero efficacy, but I'll tell you straight out, it shouldn't matter where you put the cap, it still doesn't do what you are putting it in the system for.
Caps are band-aids on bullet wounds. If you believe you need one, you have issues elsewhere in your system, and you need to address those FIRST.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
