Help!!!
Situation:
I recently installed a Sony cd player in my truck(2003 Chevy silv. 1500) I had no problems w/ the factory radio, but i wanted the Cd/Aux capabilities. I consider myself competent as an DIY install having installed some 30+ units for my self and friends. It always seemed simple. I purchased a GMCHIME interface, and the correct mounting panel. Wired the stereo to the harness soundly and secured it fast. It worked like a charm.......until I drove. I have a manual trans. and the radio cuts out horribly through 1st and 2nd gears. And the radio will shut off on its own randomly. once its off it will not restart unless you break and return the circuit.(pull and replace the fuss) Ive never seen anything like it in my limited experience. Thought it was the radio so I had walmart exchange it and thats not the problem.
I would really appreciate the help!
Thanks,
MSmammoth
