hey everyone, I know a lot of you here are very knowledgeable so I thought I'd try my luck to see if I could get some input on a new amp.
The sub I'm wanting to power is a MTX Thunder 8500 (10") right now it's being under powered but still sounds pretty decent and I'd like to push it to it's full potential, but I'm not exactly sure what amp wattage I should choose. It's rated at 500W rms (1000 max), so should I get a 500W amp or maybe a 600W or something a big higher? Also some brand recommendations would be appreciated (have been looking at Hifonics, MTX, and JL). Thanks in advance
