Hi guys,

You guys have been a great site!  You helped me with my audio needs and I've learned a lot reading through the various topics.  We recently opened up a sports bar and I need to setup the audio system.  I picked up a bunch of amps, speakers, etc from another place that closed down and I would love to find a site similar to this one that could help me with this (setup, subwoofer box build, etc).  Appreciate any help---thanks!

I'm sure this site will help more than you think. A simple google search can steer to towards a home audio forum. What kind of equipment did you get? Did the place that closed down happen to be circuit city, lol?

Ok, that would be cool.  This isn’t home audio.  This is for a 10,000 sq. ft. nightclub.  I have 5 amps:
QSC:
• RMX 2450
• RMX 1450
• PLX 3002
• MX 1500
Crown:
• Power Bass 3
I also have:
• (2) huge sub boxes that contain (2) 15” woofers each
• (4) big speakers that contain an 18” woofer, midrange and tweeter
• (6) Bose 901 series VI speakers
• (4) typical box speakers with 12” woofers & tweeter combo
And a ton of misc devices:  crossovers, eq’s, mixer, cd players, light controllers, etc.

In all seriousness, I suggest hiring a local sound reinforcement contractor.  Where are you located?

I'm not oblivious to audio, but I do understand there is a lot more to it then just hooking up some speakers, amp, etc.  I'm really interested in finding some sites where I can see examples, system configurations (placement of components, etc), etc etc.

In this economy (Detroit area especially), money is scarce and I don't have much of a budget.  I would love to hire someone and have them come in and put in a system---not going to happen.  I do have some friends of friends that do work of this nature.  The problem is "Everyone is an Expert" until they screw up your doodie.  You get what you pay for and since I don't have much to pay---I'd rather take my chances doing a big percentage of it myself.  I've always been able to do 99% of things on my own in most cases----just need some resources to pull from.  Thanks.
