Hi,
Does anyone know how to get the videosignal out of an 2008 OEM DVD/navigation.
Vehicle specs:
2008 Hummer H2
Oem navigation/stereo/dvd player.
Oem roofmounted monitor by Panasonic.

Yes, i need to mount two headrest monitors. These should be connected to the oem in-dash DVD player.

are the dash navi and the flip down screen completely separate systems or can you see whats on the front screen from the flip down? if they are linked together then you can grab the input to the flip down. just splice an rca jack directly onto the input wires and run that to whatever other screens you are installing. if you are using more than 2 screens then you might need a video booster.

Never added a screen to a 08 H2...But it looks like this harness should work

    Rear seat entertainment system retention harness/video out for GM LAN vehicles

    Product Description

    The GMLRSE2 can be used two different ways:

    When retaining the OEM Radio:
     
    The GMLRSE2 can be used to provide an Audio / Video signal output from the factory radio, used for adding an aftermarket LCD monitor.

    When replacing the OEM radio:
    The GMLRSE2 can be used with a GMAHLAN, GMAHLANB or GMAHL1 to retain all safety and convenience systems; including the Panasonic Overhead LCD and IR system. This cable will feed the Audio / Video signal from an aftermarket DVD player to the original overhead LCD screen. The GMAHLAN or GMAHLANB is needed to power the IR headphone system.

    He is asking how to get video out of the OEM deck.  That plug allows Rear Seat Integration with an aftermarket deck.
