I have a pyle pla2230 amp bridged on an Alpne R-type 12" dual 4ohm sub. Sounds fine alone. I also have a Lanzar 282 amp on 2 Alpne R-type 12" dual 4ohm subs. Sounds great too. Both amps are on lowpass. I have them both on separate remote switches on my dash comming from the same source with a bass knob for the Lanzar, but they are using the same power (4 gage split into 2 10 gage) and ground. Audio input for the lanzar is coming from the pyle output. What can i do to get full power from both amps?

Why do you think you aren't getting full power right now?
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

one set of subs is probably out of phase from the other. try reversing the speaker wires to your single type R

If you can play either amp alone and it sounds OK, and when the other amp comes on, the bass seems to decrease, as Soundnsecurity already stated, the amplfiers are electronically out of phase, or you have a woofer wired incorrectly.  Check both amps to see if either one is equipped with a switch labeled Phase or  0 and 180.  If either amp has such a switch, switch it to the other setting.  If they both have such a switch, only switch one of them.  If no switch on either amp, as stated above reverse the positive and negative wires on the single woofer.

The lanzar has "phase" and the Pyle has "sub sonic". Are they the same?

No. Subsonic is a filter that limits how low the amplifier will amplify. It is used with vented enclosures to prevent the woofer system from playing below it's tuning frequency and possibly damaging itself. The control you need is the phase on the Lanzar. Flip it (or change it to watever it ISN'T, right now). Does the bass improve?

That is a good idea Haem, I wish I could come up with some ideas like that.
